ABOUT ME.

Hi, I'm Robbe.

Growing up, I was always drawn to sports, the outdoors and the ocean. Being active was a huge part of who I was. I competed at a high level, until osteoarthritis in my right knee meant I had to leave sports school and find a different direction.

That direction turned out to be graphic design.

I built a broad foundation in digital media and print production. What excited me most was seeing an idea become something real. A design you could print, a product you could hold, or a project you could bring to life.

After recovering, I found my way into skateboarding and later surfing. I picked up sponsors and began working with brands: designing stickers and clothing, creating campaign visuals and managing social media. It was my first taste of working with real brands. And I loved it.

Today, I work in marketing four days a week while taking on independent creative projects, something I've been doing for around six years. My work ranges from graphic design and organic marketing to product development.

I've also built projects of my own, including Nawasurfco., combining my love for surfing with design and physical products. And when I'm not behind my laptop? You'll probably find me surfing, skating or coaching someone in the water.

So, why DRIFTLAB?

After years of working mostly through word of mouth and recommendations, I wanted a place of my own. Somewhere people could discover what I do, explore my work and get in touch without having to know someone who knows me.

That's how DRIFTLAB came to life. A place to bring together my experience in design, marketing and product development, and keep collaborating with good people on interesting projects.

I believe the best projects come from good conversations, curiosity and people who genuinely care about what they're creating.
